Saarbrücken, September 05, 2008- "Process Intelligence — Beyond BI" will be the theme for the series of international roadshow stops hosted by IDS Scheer and co-sponsored by Microsoft and SAP. Business professionals and research experts will meet to discuss their experiences in the areas of Business Intelligence, Business Process Management and Process Intelligence.
Process Intelligence reflects a new generation of analysis software that goes beyond traditional business intelligence offerings which focus on managing and visualizing data. But Process Intelligence combines Business Intelligence with the discipline of Business Process Management so that companies can analyze financial outcomes or indicators based on the business processes that were executed to produce those results – in real time. For example, if there are any deviations from the target figures or specified Service Level Agreements (times, costs, quality, risks), the error sources will immediately be identified inside the operational business processes. Corrective measures are then implemented in real-time before the deviations can negatively affect the business. Process Intelligence thus offers a completely new way of integrating strategic, tactical, and operational business and process management.
Participants of the roadshow will be able to determine the application of Process Intelligence solutions and the corresponding ARIS products within their own organizations. Case studies and live product presentations will be used to demonstrate the benefits. At the same time, experts will be on hand to provide insight into the business management tools of the future. The one-day roadshow stops are free of charge.
