Saarbrücken, June 12, 2008- At the beginning of the year, IDS Scheer, the leading international solution provider for Business Process Management (BPM) launched the subsidiaries IDS Scheer Iberia, S.L. in Spain and IDS Scheer srl in Italy. The company has been active in these countries for several years now and has established itself as one of the leading software and product service providers.

To offer its customers an even better local service, IDS Scheer opened two subsidiaries in Madrid and Rome at the beginning of the year. Previously, the company had been represented by partners in both countries. However, their growing customer base—with more than 80 customers in Spain and 90 customers in Italy—necessitated the launch of their own subsidiaries. IDS Scheer hopes these new subsidiaries will meet the growing demand for process management solutions and expand its market position in Southern Europe.

On the Spanish and Portuguese market—overseen by the Madrid office—there is a high demand for ARIS products in the banking, insurance and logistics sectors as well as from travel companies and energy suppliers. "We have been working in Iberia for over five years now. That is why I am so happy that we have opened a subsidiary in Madrid. We can now optimize the services for our customers with our local partners and can support them in improving their implementation efforts even further and in becoming more cost efficient and flexible," explains Steffen Exeler, Managing Director of IDS Scheer Iberia, S.L.
